General Purpose: A medium security correctional facility for serious and
habitual juvenile offenders. Functions to protect the public, provide treatment
and intervene in delinquent lifestyles.
Eligibility: Youth adjudicated "delinquent" and committed to
the custody of the Office of Juvenile Affairs by an Oklahoma district court.

meeting emotional, spiritual, mental and physical needs of adolescents.

General Purpose: CCDF services are for low-income Native American parents with
children 0-13 years of age, and must be employed, in job-training or in an
educational program to be eligible for child care assistance.
Eligibility: Children must be of Native American descent and Tribally enrolled. Priority is with children ages 13-18 with special needs and in
protective custody. Income guidelines are applied.
Fees: No Fees are assessed. Co-payments are calculated from the parents gross
monthly income work wages.
Services: Those parents living in Lincoln, Payne, and Pottawatomie
Counties qualify to apply for CCDF services. Parents are able to choose the
providers for their children. Choices are DHS licensed centers or homes, group
homes, or in-home and relative providers.
Use of Volunteers: The executive director of CTSA Head Start, Inc. meets with
volunteers who wish to offer their talents to the agency. Determination is made
as to what expertise individuals have for whatever time the volunteer can give.

General Purpose: To ensure that Indian children receive the education
opportunities that would not otherwise be provided. To provide special services
to meet the unique specialized education needs of Indian students attending
public schools.
Eligibility: JOM provides supplementary financial assistance to meet
the unique and specialized needs of Indian children. Children must possess 1/4
degree Indian blood and be tribally enrolled or be an enrolled member of a
federally recognized tribe.
Fees: No Fees are assessed.
Services: Classroom activities and parent/student projects: paper,
crayons, markers, scissors, paint, glue, paste, etc.; cultural activities:
supplies, field trips, speakers, books, etc; materials/supplies for screenings.

counties. Eligibility: Income Eligibility: (economically disadvantaged) and

Fees: None, with exception of Early Childhood Program (day care). Financial
assistance with child care fees available to families who are working or
attending educational classes and/or training.
Services: Early HS for pregnant women, infants & toddlers, HS
for 3-5 year old children, Early Childhood Program (day care), financial

inspection), resource/referral, parent & provider training.

General Purpose: Eldercare is a comprehensive case management program of the
Oklahoma State Health Department designed to help Oklahoma's elderly remain
independent within their homes and communities.
Eligibility: Any person who is 60 years of age or older who lives
within Pottawatomie County. No one is denied services because of race, creed,
sex, or ability to pay.

Services: Information, assessment of client's need for health and
social services, arrangement of needed services through an individualized,
coordinated and periodic re-assessment service plan and development of creative
and cost effective resources.
